Bavarian Belle Tour Group Information

The Bavarian Belle is an authentic stern driven paddlewheel riverboat.  The Belle offers a 1-hour historical narrated tour of  the Frankenmuth area via the Cass river on our 150 passenger paddlewheel riverboat.  The Bavarian Belle is an open air/canopied upper deck and fully enclosed climate controlled lower salon deck.  The salon deck offers a snack bar and soft drinks as well as tables for small groups and restrooms.  The Belle dock is located at the waterfall in the River Place Shopping village.

Our season begins in early May and runs through mid-October.  Sightseeing tours are offered Monday through Saturday 11:00am until dusk.  Sunday 12:30pm until 6:30pm. Tours leave the dock every 90 minutes and last approx. 1 hour.  Our schedule can be adjusted to accommodate the needs of tour groups or special event groups of  20 guests or more.

The Bavarian Belle is an open seating vessel offering first come first serve seating.  Reservations are only for a requested number of tickets, not specific seating. 

Requests for ticket reservations for group tours can be made by e-mail captain@bavarianbelle.com or by fax 1-989-652-9360.  When requesting ticket reservation please include return phone number and when you plan to visit the Bavarian Belle.  Our chief reservationist will call to confirm the ticket reservation.

Tour Group Tips

• We take reservation requests year round, so please make reservation requests as early as possible.

• Groups must arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.

• Groups with special needs or requiring assistance to board should arrive 20-30 minutes before departure.

• Boarding the Bavarian Belle is fully handicapped accessible.

• Restrooms are available onboard, however, because of limited holding capacity we ask that arriving groups use the public restrooms dockside in River Place.

• The Bavarian Belle is a non-smoking vessel.
